Do not enter tires inside maintenance and again as a separate tire rate. Likewise, ensure financing and depreciation represent different costs in your model.

Depreciation can be entered per distance or derived from user-entered starting value, ending value, and distance. Insurance, registration, financing, and other annual costs are allocated over annual distance; this is an allocation, not a claim that these costs vary linearly.
Trip mode applies one-way or round-trip and repeat multipliers before adding tolls, parking, and other trip expenses. Commute mode uses trips per week and weeks per year, with monthly average calculated as annual cost divided by 12.
Reimbursement mode compares a user-entered rate with the selected calculated cost basis. A positive difference means reimbursement exceeds the estimate; a negative difference means estimated cost is higher.
